Apex Legends: Takeover Bringing Community to the Forefront February 11

The world of Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts’ Apex Legends is going big with the release Apex Legends: Takeover on February 11, bringing with it Creator Commissioners, Arsenals, meta changes, and more.

Scope out some of the highlights of Apex Legends: Takeover below:

Creator Commissioners

The community’s favorite Creators are taking over Apex Legends. Throughout this season of Apex Legends, Creator Commissioners will take the spotlight.

All those that dive into Apex Legends will be able to unlock rewards in each two-week Creator challenge, both solo and as a community.

When it comes to Week 1, Apex Legends players can band together to complete Community challenges and determine how many Apex Packs (up to 20) players can get the chance to earn in Week 2.

On that note, in Week 2, players will then be able to complete individual challenges to unlock a Creator-selected Legendary Weapon Skin and the Apex Pack rewards set in Week 1.

Arsenals

Apex Legends’ Arsenals are weapon stations that bring the loot straight to players.

Every weapon of a single ammo type is available at one’s fingertips, giving players the chance to grab themselves a gun, ammo, or even a white or blue upgrade.

Looking to track one down? Arsenals are viewable from the sky, giving players the chance top lan their drops, equip perfect loudouts, and light up the Outlands.

Meta Changes

Apex Legends has seen a number of changes that remake the meta.

For instance, Assault Legends will get new perks like Extra Firepower and Armed and Dangerous – the later providing extra ammo, grenade

slots, improved weapon handling, and a Battle Surge for faster reloads and movement on shield cracks.
