I’ve been told that freckles and moles are the same thing because the shape of the mole is the same as the shape of a freckle. But I’ve also been told that a mole is a mole, and yet it is not. The difference between them makes no difference to me.
Freckles do exist. But Ive never actually seen one, and you can’t see them, so there’s no way to tell if they’re a mole or not. Moles are much more common, though, and they come in all shapes and sizes.
Freckles and moles are like fingerprints. People can recognize them as distinct even if they dont see them. As for whether or not freckles and moles are the same thing, I can tell you that it matters less to me than not having my fingerprints on the wrong things. It is just not something I want to see.

Well, the good part is that you can tell when something is a mole (or freckle). A mole is usually covered in fur that covers all the skin it has (that is, if it has fur at all; if it doesn’t, then it’s a freckle). A freckle is usually covered in skin that isn’t fur.
The “freckle” is a more specific term, meaning there are more fur at the end than at the beginning because there is less fur. If there is fur then its a freckle, but its not a freak. This term makes it seem like a mole is getting more and more fur at the end of the day, because fur is more and more important.
