A lot of people use the word “bikini” without any real thought or purpose. It just sounds like a big bathing suit, and that’s just plain wrong. Your skin is going to need time to get used to the heat, and that time of the year can be extremely hot.

You could just wear a bikini and not think about it at all. There are a lot of people who do this though. I’ve seen it happen several times in the past year.
