I’m not sure what the cause of this reaction is.

What I am more curious about is the bacterial reaction that is caused by wax. I read that wax is the first to go, and that the bacteria that live in the wax can also survive and grow. What is curious though is that after the waxing has been used a few times, the bacteria that live in it can also grow. It’s kind of a ‘what if’ scenario. If wax is used too much, the bacteria can grow that can cause serious problems.
