I’ve been a fan of the jacqueline hill palette for a while now but never had the chance to try it. I had the chance to try it out recently and am so excited! It’s a beautiful color palette with a modern, clean look that has a great edge to it.
It seems so simple but it’s really fun to play around with it. To start with, I paired it with one of my favorite colors, black, and got some really good results. For more complex looks I used the shades of indigo, brown, red, and blue. For more subtle looks I also used a mixture of brown, cream, and black.

I think it’s just a nice palette for someone who likes something a bit darker than black. The colors are very nice, but I think they would be better without the black.
I think the black is a nice color, but more so that some of the colors in the palette are more neutral than others. The black is a nice neutral color, the aqua and lilac is nice, but the purple and blue are less so. I think this palette is nice for someone who feels a bit of a black hole in their life.
