You can also try wearing a lot of sunscreen. The sun is going through a lot of different wavelengths, so the melanin cells in your skin will produce more Vitamin D for you every time you block a certain wavelength. The problem is that in your body, Vitamin D is actually stored in your fat tissue which makes it difficult to get proper amounts of vitamin D through skin. We recommend you get a daily dose of Vitamin D supplements as well.

The main problem with UV is that you have to wear a sunscreen every day. As opposed to many sunscreen products which are on the market, UV sunscreens don’t actually block the sun’s UV rays. They contain a UV filter that blocks the sun’s UV rays. On top of that, you have to wear an SPF-20 sun cream on top of sunscreen.

SPF is a measure of how protective the sunscreen is against UV rays. The higher the SPF number, the better. SPF-50 is the best, but you only want an SPF-40 or higher.

UV sunscreens contain sun filters that are designed to filter out UV rays while still allowing your skin to retain natural oils and other natural pigments.
