The cartilage piercing pain is nothing to be ashamed of. Every now and then, it can be excruciatingly painful. However, it is a relatively minor procedure and the pain should subside gradually, especially if you are taking care of your cartilage.
The pain is just the least of the pain associated with cartilage piercing. Cartilage is made up of cartilage pads that are attached to the inside of your cheeks. These pads also help prevent the cartilage from ever becoming detached from the inside of your cheeks. The pain is caused by nerves that are attached to the cartilage pads. If the nerves become irritated, then the cartilage pads contract, causing the nerves to produce pain.
If your cartilage piercing is completely healed, you don’t need to worry about damaging the cartilage in your face and your face becomes your body’s true color. You can also use your own cartilage piercing to see if the pain you will be experiencing has been removed.
You can do some damage to your cartilage with your own piercing, but once you have the pain removed by piercing it, you become your bodys true color.
That’s one of the many reasons I am so proud of my neck piercing. I’ve had my piercing for eight years. The pain that is felt each time the piercing is inserted is quite intense, and after a few months, it is nearly impossible to continue with the piercing. That’s when I can’t even wear a bra. But my neck is so beautiful, and it has become almost more than I can handle.
I have read that piercing a cartilage has a risk of permanent numbness, but that I would have to be very careful about where I pierced it. If I pierced it near the cartilage, I doubt I would be able to feel anything. If I pierced it just under the cartilage, there is a chance I could feel the pain, but no more than that and I would just be in too much pain to continue with the piercing.

The pain in your neck is actually called “cervical interosseous” or C-I-O, which is a bone-anchored joint. C-I-O is actually a type of cartilage, and when it’s damaged, it can make the process of getting to the neck much, much harder because there is no way for your head to get around the neck.
